I made a quadruple recipe of the beer batter (with spices) and used it on a whole sweet potato (cut into fries) and maybe 3 pounds of chicken (5 drumsticks and 4 thighs). I had plenty left over; probably could have used just a double recipe.
For the chicken, preheat oven to 400° on the air fryer and air fry for 10 minutes per side, to 160° internal temp, then let rest.
Sweetoe fries were about the same, but I mostly just eyeball them.
2nd try, with wings: doubled the spices (didn't have ground mustard). Added ~1T prepared spicy mustard to beer. Single recipe of beer batter (1/2C beer, 1/2C flour). Air fryer at 410º for 10 minutes; by that point, wings were done (160º). Next time broil on each side to cook the batter, then air fry to 160º internal temp.
